You will never lose your team registration as it is stored on our database and with your team registration number and password you can always print or modify your roster from any computer connected to the internet.
All players automatically become free agents at the end of each season. A team must register each season prior to playing in their first qualifying tournament.
No players are automatically carried over from one season to the next, and no team is recognized each year without registering each season online.
Teams may have as many as 15 players on a team at a time. This is the limited number of players a team may have at any one time.
Coaches may add and / or drop players as many times as desired.
Players may play up in an older age group. This could mean a player plays in the 6th grade tournament and the 7th grade division. But they cant play on 2 teams in the same 6th grade tournament.
Players eligibility will be checked by a current grade card / report card and birth certificate, if requested, so please have copies of current years grade card and birth certificate available for verification.
Girls may play in the boys division with the approval of the Tournament Director.
Any team using players which are not on file in the Super Stars office will be disqualified.
RE-REGISTERING YOUR TEAM
Occasionally, due to injuries or attrition, teams choose to re-register and form a new team. Now, in order to do this, you must e-mail the Super Stars office informing us that you are terminating your present roster/registration. Be sure to include your team registration number in your e-mail. Our office will then delete your present registration. This makes all players on your former roster Free Agents. They may then be added to your new registration, or another teams registered roster.
If you choose to re-register, or form a new team, all prior qualifications are voided. You MUST qualify your new roster to participate in the Super Stars National Championships.
DISBANDING YOUR TEAM
If you choose to disband your team and release your players, the team coach must e-mail or fax the Super Stars office giving us your team name, registration number, and password. Your roster will be terminated and your players will be released.
INSURANCE
All Adds and Drops must occur prior to your first game in any tournament. If you add a player without adding the player to your roster, the player is NOT insured, and your team will be disqualified for using an ineligible player.
You do not need to make specific insurance changes. Any added players to your roster are automatically added to your insurance coverage.
GUEST PLAYERS
Super Stars does not allow guest players. They are either are on your registered roster - or they are ineligible.
STATE OF RESIDENCE
Super Stars rules require that all players come from within your state. Occasionally, for border communities only, we grant border exemptions up to a certain distance. To add any out-of-state player, you must have a written border exemption from Super Stars attached to your roster. To request a border exemption, you must make the request in writing (e-mail is acceptable) stating the location (city) of your team, and the specific physical residential address of the player you wish to add. You will receive a written reply from Super Stars to your request.
PRESENTATION OF ROSTER
A copy of your Super Stars registration/roster must be submitted to the tournament director prior to participation in every event. Only those players on your roster will be permitted to participate. Participation by a player not on your roster results in immediate disqualification from the tournament, and possible disqualification from Super Stars for the remainder of the season.
